Mock Election Methodology

The mock elections concept adopted in this project is to prepare and motivate the Lebanese voters to understand the election process imposed by the new law as well as to prepare young generation (youth) and women (new voters) to participate in the Lebanese parliamentary elections. This activity emphasizes also the eligibility of participants' right to vote and make change.

"Loubnaniyoun" tried to create a close to reality voting scenario. The team created a voting room with all required Elements/Tools that are used in the election day.

Based on the above introduction, this campaign covers the Lebanese diversity in its different geographical distribution where Lebanon is being home of Eighteen religions.

Objectives

  • Introduce the new Election law rules and format.

  • Develop participants capability skills in the Lebanese electoral process.

  • Build motivation and raise awareness amongst youths to take an active part in the decision-making process on the level of the election.
