المرأة في السياسة - اللقاء الاول 6.11.2014

في اطار دعمها لأهمية دور المرأة في السياسة وايماناً بقدراتها الفعالة في صناعة القرار، واستكمالاً للندوة التي أقامتها جمعية "لبنانيون" في أذار 2014 بعنوان " المرأة في السياسة"، اطلقت جمعية "لبنانيون" سلسة لقاءات كانت اولها بتاريخ 6 - 11 - 2014 في فندق فينيسيا حيث جمعت ممثلو الاحزاب اللبنانية: السيدة وفاء عابد عن الحزب التقدمي الإشتراكي، المهندسة رنا سعادة عن الجماعة الإسلامية، السيدة جويس جعجع عن حزب القوات اللبنانية، السيدة ميرنا زخريا عن تيار المردة، السيدة مارسيل بجاني عن التيار الوطني الحر، الدكتورة ميرا واكيم عن حزب الكتائب اللبنانية، المحامية مريم الشامي عن حركة أمل.

وقد تخلل اللقاء مناقشة لابرز ما توصلت اليه الاحزاب اللبنانية في دعم المرأة والقاء الضوء على النقاط الاساسية التي من شأنها تفعيل أكثر فأكثر عملها على الصعيد الحزبي والوطني ورسم خطة عمل للمتابعة والعمل عليها.

As part of it’s support for the important role of women in politics and the belief in their effective decision-making capacities, and as a continuation of the symposium held by "Loubnaniyoun" Organization in March 2014 entitled "Women in Politics", "Loubnaniyoun" Organization launched a series of meetings, the first of which was held on 6 November, 2014 at the Venice Hotel, where Lebanese parties representatives were brought together:

Ms. Wafaa Abed the Progressive Socialist Party, Engineer. Rana Saadeh of the Islamic Group, Ms. Joyce Geagea of the Lebanese Forces Party, Ms. Mirna Zakharia of the Marada Movement, Ms. Marcel Bajani of the Free Patriotic Movement, Dr. Mira Wakim of the Lebanese Kataeb Party, lawyer Maryam Shami for the Amal Movement.

The meeting included a discussion of the most prominent findings of the Lebanese parties in support of women, highlighting the main points that would further activate their work at the party and national levels, and drawing up and working on a follow-up action plan.
