In collaboration with MedGlobal, the INGO located in the U.S. in year 2023-2024, Loubnaniyoun have continued the Elderly Home Visit program, this medical program consists of home visits whereby a medical team assess and diagnoses various geriatric patients and prescribes medications to 450 beneficiaries located in Achrafiye region and Ain al Remmeneh, and distributed .6k medication boxes. Made essential services accessible, including basic laboratory testing and imaging & radiology. Dr. Elias Stephan, head of the Geriatric Department at St. George's Hospital, played a key role in the initiative. The program continues by also providing the patients with the required medications for a limited period. On average, 2.6K boxes of medications are provided every month.
واصلت جمعية لبنانيون برنامج زيارة المسنين "Elderly Home Visit" بالتعاون مع منظمة "MedGlobal" المتمركزة في الولايات المتحدة.
تضمن البرنامج زيارات طبيّة منزلية، لتقييم وتشخيص مختلف الأمراض التي يعاني منها المسنّين، كما ووصف الفريق الطبّي الأدوية لـ ٤٥٠ مستفيد، بالإضافة الى توزيع ٦ آلاف علبة أدوية في منطقتي الأشرفية وعين الرمانة، أي بشكل عام تمّ توفير ٢٦٠٠ صندوق من الأدوية شهريًا، مع اتاحة الوصول إلى الخدمات الأساسية، بما في ذلك الفحوصات المخبرية والتصوير والأشعة.
كما ولعب رئيس قسم أمراض الشيخوخة في مستشفى سان جاورجيوس الياس أسطفان، دورًا رئيسيًا في هذه المبادرة.
حاليًا، ما زال البرنامج مستمرّ بتزويد المرضى بالأدوية المطلوبة لفترة محدودة.
